Other random exterior shots

It's a pretty day in Black Mountain, so it was a good opportunity to take some outside photos. We put a new toilet in the laundry; that's the old one. Yep, sitting on the rear deck. It's ultimate destiny is the Asheville Habitat for Humanity center. Anyone got an old sofa we can put next to it? Only the guy next door can actually see it. And that's a 40' Frazier fir in the back yard. Libby already has plans for it at Christmas!

Habitat?! ...and pass up this lawn jewelery opportunity? Why, you could plant summer-blooming annuals in the bowl and, heck, the tank, too!!

Sadly, even Habitat was not interested in the forelorn toilet. Asheville codes require low-flow toilets for all construction, and this jewel doesn't pass muster. I was already on my way to the landfill with other construction debris, so now even the toilet has joined the great pile by the French Broad River that is our county landfill. St. Francis is safely ensconced in the front garden, with flowers adorning, but the toilet has been flushed.
